holding the patchwork of life

"My heart tells me we can never have too many songbirds, too many empty spaces filled with natural beauty, or too much diversity of plant and animal species as our companions. We can never have too much time spent studying and learning about the wonders of the Creation that gave birth to us, or meditatively reflecting on the presence of the Spirit that animates all within it.

We can never have too much fertility of soil, purity of water, freshness of air, and never too much abundance from organic farms and gardens. We can never have too much knowledge of how to care for our families with healthy food and natural medicines, and never have too many friends in nourishing and supportive communities." (by David Crow)

the ocean of forms is filled with sound of color
yes, there can never be enough fresh air and clean water
the sky and the air are full of space and light
and in the ocean lies our fate and our life
looking back to materialism and limited insights
we find so much darkness and so much dogma
perhaps in our future there there will be benevolence
but right HERE, we find that what can't be found
the mystery of all life... then...
shall we protect the patchwork of life?
shall we together learn to really love?
shall we know what it means to really die
into that which is eternally true?
die, into that which is not graspable
we always can hold a bird in hour hearts
drink clean water and share food with all
live a life of peace with other beings
we are becoming tired of not helping the earth
but HERE ... right HERE .... there is always peace
not even peace...
