when the time is ready - walk the golden path

when we first came into each others life
it was many life times ago
lives we have forgotten today
at those times when we first met
perhaps it was the dawn of all times
remember, it was spring
and the cherry flowers blossomed
we smiled at each other with open heart
the wind was gently touching our skin
and our hairs stood on end in bliss
there was newness and freshness
and we knew from the start
today we would love each other
and we did not want to think
that tomorrow we would have to part
today we often smile from a distance only
but we know that the sweetness of the heart
spreads its wings to fly free - wherever
we mirror back and forth that which is NOW
that which is also termed "real love"
in this life, so far we smile from far
and sometimes we do not talk either
and in this silence - we both meditate
say more of less the same without words
overlapping purpose interact
about that which creates
a parallel universe
union - eventually
union - which shines
through our eyes
no more hide and seek
just open blue sky love
linking finite and infinite
the paradox of union
the one - the two - and the one
is available either way
honoring patience as a key
to the inner Beloved

Often, the relation to the inner Beloved, the Ista', is the same than the relation that we have to ourselves and to our partners. So, when we reflect any impatience or any kind of distance, it means that we have not learned to see with "real eyes" (or realized), who the other really is and who we are. That can be translated to our real life partners, and people we loved from the past and from a distance. Think about, even God remains elusive and distant, even after bliss unions; even those are impermanent. Hence we achieve nothing and there is nothing to achieve. If even "God" plays the "game of hide and seek" so do we with each other. Yet we continue to love, either way, no matter what happens within and without. Sometimes the sense of "longing," can create a focus for merging - the sense of "missing" - which is also a longing, may not be a "lack" after all, but the propelling force for mystical union, ultimately.

Love!
